| Duties of Dean's Administrative Assistant
Coordinating the work of administrative and technical staff in all college branches according to work requirements and distributing them to units or divisions, each according to its specialty, in a way that ensures the college’s interest and needs.
Controlling the personnel management system for administrators and technicians in terms of attendance, vacations, tasks, and specializations.
Ensure that the official letters are answered and that what is required by the university presidency is accomplished in a timely manner.
Recommending the promotion of the college’s technical and administrative members.
Approval to accept medical reports issued from inside and outside Iraq for college members in accordance with the regulations.
Making the necessary moves in the administrative staff at the college in accordance with the requirements of the public interest.
Signing the issuance of orders to grant regular vacations, summer vacations, and legally approved bonuses to those who are retired from the college.
Approval of assigning college employees and affiliates to additional university work.
Issuing appointment, placement, retirement, and resignation orders, except for what is related to the implementation of Revolutionary Command Council Resolution No. (550) of 1989.
Approval and disbursement of delegation advances for teachers, technicians and administrators for college employees inside Iraq and for the appropriate periods to complete the mission.
Approval of granting professional and engineering allowances, infection allowance, and other allowances determined in accordance with laws, regulations, and instructions.
Granting letters of thanks and appreciation to the college’s members, including technicians and administrators, in accordance with the provisions of the applicable laws and regulations.
Granting cash and incentive rewards to distinguished college employees, not exceeding (10,000) ten thousand dinars in each case.
Granting maternity and maternity leave to all college members, according to the instructions in force
Approving the referral of statements and additional periods in accordance with the relevant committees and in accordance with the general conditions of contracting, laws and sub-regulations.
Paying attention and supervising the safety of government buildings, maintaining them, and expanding them according to work requirements.
Chairing student discipline committees and ensuring order within the college.
Ensure to attend College Council meetings and participate in various committees in order to achieve the public interest.
Issuing administrative orders for lectures by associates or external lecturers (in coordination with the Deanship of the College), opening their records or forms, auditing them in accordance with the administrative orders issued in their regard, and following up on their disbursement by the department secretariat in coordination with the College’s Financial Department.
