Awareness workshop to introduce the program accreditation criteria Entitled (the first criterion / administrative capabilities and resources)

Under the auspices of the President of Thi Qar University, Prof. Yahya Abdul Rida Abbas, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Nursing, Prof. Khalid Jamil Kazim, and within the activities of the Continuing Education Unit, the Quality Assurance and Performance Division held on Thursday, 29/224/2024, a workshop entitled Administrative Capabilities and Resources. The workshop was attended by the Dean of the College, Dr. Khalid Jamil Kazim, and a number of professors and employees of the college. The Workshop was given by Prof. Dr. Alaa Muhaibis Toumaa, Prof. Dr. Sara Taleb Kazem . The workshop dealt with the definition of accreditation and the culture of quality. The concept of quality and how it can be achieved in higher education was explained, accreditation, types of accreditation and the stages that pass and the identification of the mechanisms of self-assessment reports for higher education institutions and quality assurance mechanisms until reaching accreditation. There were interventions by the Dean of the College and professors about the subject because of its importance in perfecting the work and providing good services to the community and  everyone should cooperate to promote the College of Nursing
